Office Manager - Dorota Swiatek
Dorota comes from Poland where she studied Applied Linguistics at the Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan. She speaks Polish, English and German fluently and also has excellent French and Russian. She’s responsible for the smooth running of our office and also manages our translator network. |

Project Manager - Renata Simson
Renata also comes from Poland and studied German language & literature at the University of Gdansk. She worked for a number of years as an in-house translator for a German-Polish telecoms company and then as a freelance translator for Polish cultural institutions. She is our second project manager and advises us on all matters to do with Poland and the Polish language. |

Accounts Executive - Jan Carrington
Jan is our longest-serving member of staff and brings many years of experience in accounts administration. She's responsible for issuing client invoices, paying our translators and the general running of our accounts department. |

Staff translator / Quality Assurance - Leighton Twigger
Leighton studied French & German at the University of East Anglia. After short assignments for VW in Germany and studies at the Ecole de Traduction et d'Interpretation in Geneva, he joined us in 2001 as a trainee staff translator for German & French to English. With 5 years experience under his belt now, Leighton is one of our principal financial translators and has recently taken on account management of a number of key clients in the financial sector. |

Trainee staff translator - Peter Robbins
Peter studied French & German at Oxford University. Following a spell in France as an English Language Teaching Assistant, he joined us in May 2008 as a trainee translator for German & French to English.

Translation consultant and proofreader - Ulrich Guettinger
In the early 1970s, Ulrich, who is a German speaker, moved from Switzerland to London where he completed his studies with a First Class Honours Degree in French. He joined D.F. Long & Co (Translations) Ltd in 1981 and later bought the company. After many years of successful trading, his business partner retired and Ulrich took the opportunity to reduce his own commitments. He now works part-time as a consultant and specialises in the revision of French and German financial translations. |

Founder and Managing Director - Andrew Schlich
Following graduation in Modern Languages from Oxford University, Andrew spent a number of years working in industrial exports in the UK and Germany before spotting an opportunity to provide top-quality translations into English via modem transfer (at that time a new technology!) to clients based in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Andrew now devotes his time to making sure everything's running smoothly and is also the Company's IT Administrator. |
